Terms of Service

Paid checkout is disabled. This draft records the intended one-time offer and must be completed with the operator’s legal identity and reviewed before live payments are enabled.

Parent or guardian agreement

Keyboard Runner is a family typing game. A parent or legal guardian must create the family account, manage player profiles, and make any purchase. By making a purchase, you confirm that you are an adult authorized to use the selected payment method and to accept these Terms.

The Family Pass

The Family Pass is a one-time digital purchase for the parent account shown at checkout. It unlocks the premium lessons, quest worlds, Arena modes, and premium shop content identified in the purchase screen for all player profiles under that account. It is not a subscription, does not automatically renew, and does not include purchased virtual currency or randomized rewards.

The price displayed immediately before checkout is the price charged, plus any tax that must legally be collected. Access begins after the payment provider confirms payment. The pass is for personal, non-commercial family use and may not be resold or transferred to another account.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep the parent login secure and use non-identifying nicknames for player profiles. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, probe other accounts, automate abusive requests, or use Keyboard Runner unlawfully. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect families, the service, or legal compliance.

Game content and permitted use

Playing Keyboard Runner does not transfer ownership of its artwork, models, animations, sounds, music, or other game content. We retain our rights in original project contributions to the extent protected by applicable law. You may load, display, and use game content through Keyboard Runner for personal, non-commercial play. Except as allowed by applicable law, a separate license, or written permission from the relevant rights holder, these Terms do not permit extracting, redistributing, reselling, or using that content in another game or service.

Third-party material remains subject to its own licenses. These Terms do not restrict rights those licenses grant, including rights in Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) and CC0 material. Refunds and payment problems

The Refund Policy is part of these Terms. Approved refunds return funds through the original payment method and may revoke the Family Pass. Contact support@keyboardrunner.com before filing a payment dispute so we can investigate quickly. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Service availability and changes

We may maintain, secure, improve, or discontinue parts of the service. We will not intentionally convert the one-time Family Pass into a recurring charge. If a material change would reduce already-purchased access, we will provide a reasonable remedy as required by law.

Disclaimers and responsibility

Keyboard Runner is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss. Any liability limit and dispute provision in the live version must be reviewed for applicable Oregon and consumer law before activation.

Governing law and contact

These Terms are intended to be governed by Oregon law, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply where a purchaser lives. The live version must identify the legal operator and contact address. Questions may be sent to support@keyboardrunner.com.
